BIL puts out sunflowers and oats to feed the deer for hunting. It draws in quite a crowd of rabble rowsers too.

It could work, sounds like moving eggs to a hatcher right before hatching.
Don't wach the eggs, just brush off as much as you can, and be aware that dirty eggs have less chance of hatching due to bacteria, so if you can somehow give them move bedding to keep the eggs clean from the get-go...
The mama will take them for an outing when they are about a day old. You can try moving her nest to an area adjacent to where she is now when she takes them for a walk.
Quite a few more weeks yet. I know I'll look at my youngsters and they they look like adults but still peep like babies. They wont start to cluck till theyre pretty much grown up.
