I use a heated dog water bowl - worked great last winter. I did place a half full gallon jug in the center so the girls would not perch on the side of the bowl and tip it over.
I close my pop door only in the winter but my run is VERY secure. I wouldn't if I didn't trust it.

Hello :) I am in Central MA too and I would wait at least a couple more weeks before letting them stay out all night - it is still to chilly at night. They can spend time outside (supervised) during the day. Mine were born May 5th and they did not go outside for good until 8-9 weeks.
