hi guys,
i had a broody sitting on some fertile eggs for about 2weeks. today, collected the eggs & shes sitting on another set of non fertile eggs in a different nest.
collected the fertile eggs & noticed they had tiny grey mites on them. i cant describe them tidy but they were no bigger than...
im just thinking what a waste when im killing them with pellets when i could just catch them & feed them to the birds.
not to sure about the beer though, dont want the birds to get a taste for beer!!!

if you want a non chemical way of worming, i use crushed pumpkin seeds. natural way & they love eating them. if you use chemical treatment, you should stop eating the eggs for a while.

thats exactly them. email the seller & see if they will post. if i could find mine, id send them on to you. if you go down this orute, you will need the pliers that open as you squeeze, you probably couldnt put these on the birds without it as the plastic is very tough.
hi,
i had 4 RIR to start, then introduced another 2 along with a white one (my sig pic, forgotten the name of them). all the RIR ganged up on the white one.
i moved her out & she was living in my back garden for a week will i think of something.
off e.b.a.y i bought a pack of 10 beak bits (or...
finally, a bit of sun.
ive now had the weather to extend the the run from approx 5mtrs by 5mtrs, to 15mtrs by 15mtrs.
first time in ages ive seen the birds enjoy a new spot for a dust bath in the sun.
maybe now, the pellet consumption will slow down!!!!
