    What a beautiful run. From the sound of it looks like a hormonal issue. Beautifull rooster. I bet by the size of your run and the obsession of having chickens. You will double your flock come spring.

    No, it's absolutely fine. I plan on raising 2-3 turkeys for meat for Thanksgiving. Do you recommend heritage or high production? For this setup.

    I'll very much try to look into it. Another dilemma I face. Is that I have automatic doors open to let them out in the morning and I put them to sleep in the afternoon. Due to early work. Would you know of any Turkey size automatic door?

    The ducks do. But the turkeys The ducks have a coop. When I asked the Turkey forum they told me to build a movable roost and let them sleep outside when they are big enough.

    That's the only disadvantage of free-ranging. But I have a lot of bushed and as you can see lemon trees. I too have a huge crow population around here.
