    its not really a problem as far as i can see. someone said something like this would happen if i gave my hens more greens like green lettuce. my brown eggs have even darker brown spots its vary weird. i just want to now some other reasons this might happen and are they safe to eat.

    well i live in florida so we dont have to worry about cold but all of my whyendote hens are sheding in november. it might just depend on the breed. but i have never had one of them go bald and if that happens yes i whould bring it inside
