They both came from a hatchery they where the males for warmth do hatcheries sell mixed breeds?- klpdaffy

Angel wing in ducks, & how we wrap to mend it - Pictorial
I just noticed that my little girls wing feathers seem to be sticking out both sides she will be 5 weeks old on Thursday. She still has a lot of the fluff left her big girl feathers just started in the past week here some pic. Is this something that needs to be wrapped... -

I have a question whe I was I with my geese this morning feeding and petting playing.... I noticed that the knob on my ganders head is soft. Is it suppose to be. This is my first time with geese and I just always thought it would be hard. Any info would be great thanks. -

Ok I remember seeing posts about straw and hay and where to find it how much it costs . I am looking for it for nesting boxes. and bedding for pigs which is better? And where around enfield do I find it. thanks- klpdaffy

My girl just started laying eggs about 2 weeks ago she has 10 in her nest so far will she sit on them this late in the year. -

Ok so now since I have had them separated mama duck has a nest in her dog house and she has got 4 eggs as of yesterday so excited I am hoping she will sit. its her first batch she started laying on Thursday. When should I take out the eggs and throw in the bator if she does not sit? Her nest... -

I have an orphin rouen that needs a friend. I am mot looking to buy a bunch because I have a female laying on eggs now and will have a lot in a month. I hatched him myself and he is about 6 days old but is very lonely. I have not been able to get him adopted by any of my mothers or the flock...- klpdaffy

Hi I tried to hatch out some rouens and only one hatched most of the others were not even fertile and 2 quit early on. So now I have this one poor baby whom I had to help out of his shell with the help of the article from here helping the hatch! very helpful. So I got him out of the shell... -

Hi everyone. I have 5 geese 3 African 1 Chinese and a undetermined white one. I have attached pics. My question is the African geese seem to have yellowish whitening on the beaks is this normal they are all about 4 months old. and its just the Africans my china goose has no blemishes on her... -

[/IMG] Well they seem to be getting along ok. some jabs Here and there from geese but down at the pond ducks seem ti be faster and be able to get away. they are separated at night in different pens. also mama seems to be protecting him more if the geese start to go after him and yells at them... -

Ok so I have my new drake and him and mama are already mating! They are separated at night when I put them in and during the day they all seem to get along ok in the pond the gander does try to break up the mating sometimes but gives up. she is hanging with. her new pal more then the geese think... -

I call my duck mama too. No all my male ducks have died I am starting to wonder if the gander has something to do with it. Or just the breed not able to tolerate the geese I have a rouen and she is bigger and can handle a peck here and there at the food dish she actually gives it right back... -

I also have a goose duck pair but my goose is the male my duck the female. He has almost drowned her a few times in the pond and in the shallow wading pool we have I jumped into the pond to break them up the first time I though he was going to drown her. He is to big and it really looks like... -
1 month old goose attacked by fox need help
ok sad to sad my little guy did not make it. He was doing so well that second day but on the third he was again not able to hold his head and was weezing like he had asthma. I am wondering if he had some internal injuries I could not see. I did tell him I was very proud of him for protecting...
