No, I was still working on the roof and door. But, I did finally finish my $40.00 dog house coop which ended up costing quite a bit. I'm trying to teach my grandkids country living including gardening, and cooking from scratch. So, the colors I chose were for them.
If you can see the window in the back of my modified dog house coop....I got it from craig's list ($5.00) It's hinged to open on the top for air circulation in the summer, and latches up for cold weather.

If you take chunks of watermelon rind, place it in your garden turned upside down. In the morning the slugs will be gathered under them. Then just remove them. It's easy and best of all it's natural.

1. Mix citric acid into gallon of whole milk (make sure it's not ultra pasteurized or it doesn't work)
2. Heat until warm
3. Add rennet
4. Stir and heat until 100 degrees or so...
