    I bet that blue Marans is beautiful. I am excited about these Bresse if these cockerels are excellent eating it will be a lot nicer to raise them rather that the Cornish X for meat.     I’m sure these 4 month old Bresse cockerels are at least 6 pounds maybe more. At 3 months when I separated them from the others they were round and meaty not lanky like a normal cockerel.

    I put them in ice water till they cool out good then dry off with paper towels and put in a bag and pop in the fridge for 3 days then eat or freeze
