Wow... I was about to PM you cause I have a few great eggs that pipped but stopped... these are my guys from a few days ago.If seems my pekin eggs are on auto pilot and I can't do anything wrong. The two I would like to save are from my snowy mallard...
Your guys are too precious!!! I'm sure you will think of some names to go with their personalities. My kids definitely liked Utah for one of the ducks and are still pondering Janet... sorry. I will send a picture later... they are doing great. The other two eggs did not survive the humidity...
Great, great pictures everyone. Love seeing everyone's extended families. We had this guy show up about a week ago and luckily only came around a few times. We had a few catfish die in the pond and he was around when the vultures went after the dead catfish but didn't challenge any of them...

Thank you soooo much. I know it must be frustrating for you guys watching us newbies get in these situations. Their progress just drastically changed and I'm happy to report they are both working hard on getting out so things luck good!!!! Thanks, thanks and more thanks!
Good morning everyone. Thanks Iain for the plug suggestion. They are removed, condensation is gone and the eggs look better. One is starting to come through more but the one that started first has not made anymore progress. I can still see the fast breathing and the beak lifts to the opening...
No, they are closed. I have been opening them occasionally, for brief periods of time to hear the chirping, but predominately they are closed. Initially I forgot to take the plugs out and then left them that way to maintain temps. We just set this second incubator up for hatching only...
