I'm not sure if this belongs here but if it doesn't sorry! I have had several people ask me if they could come clean my chicken coop or bag the litter from my pile. So I was wondering if anyone does this? If so do you charge? What do you charge?
I am planning on claiming my chickens next year. My accountant actually told me to look into signing the property up as a farm because we have 30+ acres. So I was wondering what do people do that have backyard chickens and sell the eggs? Do I keep track of every expense I put toward my...
I believe it was at 8am yesterday and I got the phone call today at 11am that they were local but not at my post office. At 8am I believe they were at the sort facility about 45 minutes from me.
I'm in upstate NY and received mine a day early, which is good because there wasn't much food or the green gel they use left in the box of 21 chicks. I'd be calling them first thing in the am. Good luck
I got mine today and they shipped from Lebanon MO yesterday and arrived a day early. I would have called them today? What was the ship date and the delivery date?
Yes mine were shipped out Monday, but weren't due to arrive until tomorrow that's what cackle told me. I thought they would be a day early. What did you order? Did you get a ship date? A state over from me or from cackle? I'm in upstate NY

I ordered from cackle hatchery they are hatching tomorrow and will arrive on Wednesday. In about two hours down from Binghamton. Cackle had a minimum of 15 chicks and 15.00 and up for shipping.
Your white leg horns if you get them next week will be 18 weeks old in the middle of June, you might want to reconsider your project for 4H. They may start laying at 18 weeks old but as you see in this thread some were older and much older. Good Luck

I have seen pictures of others inside of their coop on here and in person and I was wondering how the heck does everyone keep the inside so **** spotless? My coop is exactly an 8x8 room and it gets dusty and dirty. I mean I know chickens aren't the cleanest animals but still. In a time frame...
