Yes I had her fur—but all of the fur quickly became soiled. I am using bamboo towels which seems to be keeping them very warm and cozy. The mom seems to be using the nest as a place to pee 🤦🏻♀️ first time mom.
They seem to be doing okay. I’m trying to warm and feed one of them. I keep finding that the babies are always covered in dry urine and I’m not sure if I should be cleaning them.
Got a pic of smaller baby with two of the bigger ones as well as the current setup of the parents. They both seem to really want to mate…like they are literally trying to bite their way through the cage 😂
I tried to get mama to feed little one but she flipped out on me. She proceeded to start...
I had separated them once she went into labor. He still stays outside during the day but at night I bring him in (but inside of a cage where he can’t get to her to mate but they can at least see each other.)
I honestly don’t know what breed they are. I took the mama in from a teenage girl who couldn’t care for her. She didn’t know the breed and I am a first time rabbit owner.
This is the one that concerns me. The others are in a different room. I just fed and stimulated this one. It hasn’t pooped yet though, am I supposed to do it until it poops? It has been peeing.
I don’t want to get up to take a pic of the others just yet. We have cats here and don’t want to...
I live in the country and used to have goats, but no longer. I don’t have many friends and people who sell raw milk here are very hush hush and you have to be in their circles to get their milks
She is eating rabbit pellets. Before I brought her from outside, she foraged on plants as well as eating pellets.
I have felt her belly and I feel her swollen nipples. But she won’t let me pick her up ever since she gave birth. I don’t to stress her to the point of not nursing any babies, so I...
They are living with mama. I raised the mama in an outdoor bunny sanctuary but it’s still too cold at night here, so I have her in our spare bathroom. Babies are inside of a little box with her fur covering them.
