I'm really not sure about what happened to this raccoon, we trapped it and I wanted to set it free somewhere far away but I came home from work on Monday and the raccoon was gone, I asked my boyfriend and brother what they did with it and they wont tell me. So I'm assuming they took care of it...
Thank you! We are rebuilding the existing cage. The cage will be raised a foot off the ground with a wood floor and cinder blocks under the floor so nothing can dig in. We have to completely rebuild the roof. Any ideas on that? The old roof was ok but there are a couple holes forming so we just...
I'm not sure what happened to the raccoon. But it's gone, that's all I know. Now we're just focusing on rebuilding the cage and keeping the surviving ducks comfortable.
We got rid of the raccoon yesterday morning. But there could be more, I have no idea. We're going to clean out the cage completely and then go from there, still not sure whether we should knock it down or rebuild it a little. I still cant go out there, my boyfriend and brother said it would be...
A raccoon got my sweet little mallard duck, Dixie, last night. I rescued her after her mother was killed and she's been the most wonderful duck ever since. She has three other duck friends who survived.
They have a huge cage with a pond inside and an enclosed area for cold weather. I couldn't...
She laid two eggs over night under her heat lamp. Will they be ok? or should i bring them inside and take care of them? I checked them, one has something in it, the other I'm not sure
I live in Pennsylvania and nights are starting to get cold. My ducks have a huge cage with a pond and an insulated duck house full of hay for them with a heat lamp but they never seem to be interested in going in there. I went out last night to check on them, it was 30 degrees, and they were...
I had her outside with the other ducks for today but now I'm nervous about the color of her poop. She seems to be doing really well but I'm bringing her back inside for the night to see if anything has changed
She seems to be doing great and getting better! she still cant jump up on that step thogh, it was always very easy for her before. Maybe just a couple more days.
I have noticed that her poop is green. She's been eating her duck crumbles and drinking water, nothing else.
Should I worry about that?
she's a mallard! The sweetest little thing!
She wont jump up onto anything, I have a step in my kitchen. she wont hop down or hop up onto it, hopefully she'll be able to do that soon, probably just from being sore
