I just really noticed it today she can walk with out a band aid but has a little trouble and lays down a lot when u put her down she runs a few step in a random direction one she almost ran off a table. Should I put a band aid on or can I just leave it?
Last year I had this one hen that molted all her feathers in a couple of days and it was like when she lost a feather another one popped up instantaneously so in a week she just has little spikes all over her lol
We don't need them anymore and they aren't very friendly. And I'm sorry to tell you but I have already had another person buy them I should have taken this down or something
Hey I'm Cameron and I have some laying hens that I would like to sell. They are all 1 year old. All but 2 of them are show quality
I have;
2 black jersey giants

3 barred rocks( got a trophy as a pen of three in the Leavenworth county fair)
1 silver laced Wyandotte( just...
that would make sense once we went on vacation and my mom would come home ever night and lock them up ( we were just in Kansas city I live in Linwood) but one night she was just to tired and left the coop open and when we got home there were blood and white feathers all in the coop were some...
that make sense and raccoon do like the darkness they've took half of our babies ones year. But that was when we didn't really know what we were doing now we hardly ever lose a baby until they are free range
That does make sense. The roo that I lost was a really really big and pampered light brahma my mom fed him cat food and other treats a lot. we think the protein gave him a grows pert. And I'll have to try the trail cam. This is very off topic but the 3rd picture of the raccoon is a very good...
Yea I understand the feeding the pups but what I don't get is that they are taking my younger smaller birds when I have larger hens that go out farther into the field than the little ones. and what is your way of convincing them to go elsewhere to hunt?
Wow. well I'm losing them about an hour or so before dusk. And if it is a fox it might be that at first they are mistaking it for my dog I have a young husky and then it attacks them and that why I never here anything and then they are gone the next day.

I have been having problems with my chickens disappearing lately and I can't seem to find out what it is. they will be there all day and then all of a sudden be gone. When I count ever one in the coop before I lock up at about dusk every night. If it were some thing coming in to the...
The Title tells most of it at first I wanted to leave it alone and see if it would heal on it's own but it's not healing at all it just getting worse. I will post a picture of it soon with both of her eyes the drooping one and the one that is fine. It would be great if any one could tell me if I...
