Thank you! My local agricultural ext agent told me I can do 3-4 peppers in each pot, similar to another poster here. I’m going to try it, curious to see how that will look though, has usually one large plant fills a single large cage for me. I’m having trouble picturing how 3 would have any room...
Wow! Thank you. Do you use one cage for each plant, or a cage for all 3? May sound like a silly question. Maybe I’ll take a pic of the pots tonight to share with you all for reference.
Thank you! I was wondering about growing multiple jalapeños, but I was unsure of whether or not they would have room to grow (width wise). I may just give it a shot.
Hi all,
This year I have set up a container garden on my back deck.
It currently consists of 5 seven gallon fabric containers, and 5 twenty gallon fabric containers.
I'm beginning to think that I might have overdone it on the 20 gallon containers and will just be wasting soil and space...
Also, I picked up a few different things. Probiotics and electrolytes for their water. 24% protein starter crumbles and 20% grower crumbles once they’ve finished the starter crumbles. Am I doing the right thing for my ducklings?
Thought I’d share the solution I came up with for keeping the ducklings from soiling the bedding every 5 seconds. I got a large hog pan from tractor supply along with 1/4x1/4 wire mesh and covered the pan with it. Placed two 2x4/ to support the pan, waterer goes ontop. No more soiled bedding!
Hello all,
I have ordered 12 day-old ducklings from McMurray hatchery that will be arriving the week of November 11th. I have raised ducklings before, so I am prepared to care for them properly when they arrive. However, I have not raised them before at this time of year. So, I have some...
Thankyou both! How do I acquire onion plants? The ones i've used before are just bulbs about the size of a garlic clove. I don't believe i've ever seen actual plant starts.
I live in Zone 7 and have heard that I am supposed to start onions in the fall in my zone. Is this true? Cannot I grow them by starting in spring? The stores sell onion starts/sets in the spring, so I don’t see why I wouldn’t be supposed to start them in spring? Which varieties should I grow if...
Pulled about 40 flower heads off of my 5 foot tall dill plants that came up as volunteers in the garden this year! And yelled at my broccoli plants for failing to make progress in producing heads, rather just bolted, so are being removed from the garden and incinerated.
