T Hi, I love your Washington Walduck Astoria Hotel! :) It looks so nice! How do you clean the swimming trough though? I'm guessing you added a drain to it?
Alicia, I love them! SO cute.
I've heard calls can be really noisy, but recently have found people who've told me otherwise. Do yours make a lot of noise?
I noticed a few people commenting on the "Private" threads in the forum (see above). I don't think they're actually private in the sense that viewing is restricted, I think it just means that posting isn't open in them. Can anyone confirm that that's correct? I'm definitely able to view them.
Good catch! I noticed that too, Lithiriel. :) Rob was up all night helping with the conversion and just went to bed, but I'm seeing if we can get it fixed.
Well, I grew up always wanting to live on a farm - or at least a ranch, but I never imagined I'd be here in the middle of suburbia with my own little mini-farm! :)

Wow! That's wonderful! It must feel so good to complete a project like that!
How exciting! I have a book reviews blog (Super Reader Girl Reviews) and would love to feature you and your book there once you're nearing publication! Let me know if you want any info on agents/publishers. I've...

And stirkle, to relieve your concern, I believe we did have a lamp on the ducklings when I made that post. I was just inquiring as to things to put...
FYI, for smithzoo, I think Lemon was from the egg that said "Cricket? 1/24", Lilly's egg said "1/28", and Brownie's egg said "1/17"
I think all the eggs were about the same creamy white color.
They do seem to be turning a bit "blue" or gray where their darker splotches are. Even Brownie looks...
So exciting! We're actually pretty happy with the idea of a mutt duck cross between an Ancona and a Muscovy! It sounds like the Ancona's are fairly friendly as well as wonderful egg layers. Any idea on which side they'll get the vocalization from? (Hoping they'll still be on the quiet side!)...
Our "babies" are looking so grown up! Here's what they look like now with a side-by-side comparison to their chick photos. (The grown-up photos, with the exception of Sparkles, were taken a month and a half ago.) Any guesses on breeds? My guesses are based on the guesses of their eggs. All...
