I'm TICKED! Just got back from the recycling center

this is a prime reason why i dont waste my time recycling

we dont have deposits on anything but liquor and beer bottles and they certainly dont give US money to recycle things

We have the recycling containers for weekly pickup and try to use those for as much as possible. I thought it would be a good learning experience for the girls to take in the ton of aluminum cans we've been saving for the past year. I think it was still worth the trip and experience, but I'll definitely not think twice about putting stuff in the recycle bin vs. this place.

wow i guess we are lucky?

our recycling place takes some things, i know pop cans, pop bottles, and car batteries ... mind you we pay 10c when we buy pop bottles/cans... we get back 5c

ps. I think glass is much better then any thing else they can be reused.
