    What breeds are "hot" for 2010?

    I've never really owned them, but i have to say Delawares are becoming "hot" this seasonas well as plymouth rocks. I wish I could own some. But as for color, I think lavender, crele, barred and gold or silver lacing are the "in thing" right now. OMW!!!!! I love chickens u guys

    Things I have learned since getting chickens...

    I learned after I got chickens that 3 are not enough. They lay enough eggs for the whole family but they dont stop the chickie cravings disease. I also learned that silkies are working with cochins in trying to take over the world, I fell for them anyway

    Good Way to recycle Pastic Grocery Bags.... & Protect Your Flock

    THATS A NICE GREEN IDEA!! Yay!! I should try that since people who visit us and mom complain about chickens' poop when they go outside to look at them, the only use I have for those plastic bags is to make mini scarecrows for my friends' garden patches.
