I have one black bantam Ameraucana roo and one Mille F. d'uccle roo that both need new homes.
Pick up in South East SC or I may consider meeting you nearby (I often head to NC & FL).
Hello all!
I am searching for hatching (chicken) eggs. We're certainly on a budget, so the cheaper the better. I can pick up in parts of FL, SC, and GA, but am willing to have them shipped.
No real preference on breed. Mixed breed is fine too. Please let me know what you've got!
I have a Collie and a Great Dane; both of them ignore the chickens completely. They can be left outside with the chickens without any worries. I can't say that I've seen any evidence of them "guarding" the chickens, but they certainly don't mind them. The chickens will do their thing all...
I have a white Silkie roo ( June hatch) who is looking for a home.
An OEGB roo (oct hatch).
An EE roo (Sept. hatch).
All very pretty boys.
I'm located in SEastern SC.
I have a Silkie roo (well, at least I'm pretty sure he'll grow into a roo) that needs a home (hatched in June). $5. Pet quality.
I have two laying hens $30 for both ~ I'd like them to go together.
One Australorp and one Barred Rock.
I'm in the SE corner of SC, but might be willing to meet you.
I did it last winter, but we live in a place with very mild weather.
We incubate and hatch ....when they get old enough we take them outside during the warmest part of the day. Otherwise, they stay in.
Good luck!
Just wanted to say it can be done! Let us know what you do.
Ok, so what do you guys do when only one hatches? This may/may not be the case over here but I'm just trying to be prepared. Do I look around for day old chicks in the area? Sit tight and raise a loner?
I'd love to hear your stories.
