    Hello all! I am searching for hatching (chicken) eggs. We're certainly on a budget, so the cheaper the better. I can pick up in parts of FL, SC, and GA, but am willing to have them shipped. No real preference on breed. Mixed breed is fine too. Please let me know what you've got!

    Does anyone order and raise baby chicks in the winter?

    I did it last winter, but we live in a place with very mild weather. We incubate and hatch ....when they get old enough we take them outside during the warmest part of the day. Otherwise, they stay in. Good luck! Just wanted to say it can be done! Let us know what you do.

    Lonely hatch

    Ok, so what do you guys do when only one hatches? This may/may not be the case over here but I'm just trying to be prepared. Do I look around for day old chicks in the area? Sit tight and raise a loner? I'd love to hear your stories.
