Hello!! I just had a bunch of my Muscovy eggs hatch!!! Yay!! One did end up not making it. It got stuck in the egg and momma didn’t help it. I have this little baby. The momma hen (my chicken decided she was gonna give us babies!!) started helping to soon I believe because there was some blood... -

It has begun! The baby is fine. Pipping away in its shell! I think momma helped a little to much in the beginning. I brought it inside and we shall see!- ICB42

Yes they are safe and by themselves. And yes I have a hen sitting on duck eggs and a chicken on another set. They have food and water. I haven’t really Messed with them other than checking on the eggs and making sure the mommas were doing good... I’m so anxious- ICB42

My Muscovy eggs are starting to hatch!!
I went to check on my mommas!! (I have a chicken hatching my Muscovy eggs and a muscovy momma sitting on them. ) I went to check on this one and saw this!! I’m so excited and nervous!! I’ve never had eggs hatch before!! Any tips or tricks?!?- ICB42

8 or 9 I’m not 100% sure I can never get to more than one or two lol she’s mean!! I can’t even get near her. I also have one of the ducks laying on 4 of her own!! Hoping for babies!! I’m so excited!!- ICB42

Hello!! I have 6 Muscovy ducks. 3 makes and three females. I did have a flock of 13 but we lost more than half. I had a chicken hen go broody on the eggs!!! I’ve been checking and there have been changes, however this will be the first set of babies... what do I need to know? Do I need an...- ICB42

Hello!!!! I have 6 muscovy ducks, Lost 7 rather quickly. Anyways,we have 6 of them 3 girls and 3 boys, My female ducks aren't going broody. they lay their eggs and go about their business. We've seen the ducks mate so I know they are fertile. Any suggestions on getting the duck to go broody... -

Thanks, he was standing more and eating and drinking I think that the cold snap we had wasn’t helpful either. It got really cold last night I didn’t know it was supposed to either :/ -

Thanks for all your help y’all! My big white duck ended up passing away last night. He seemed to be getting better and then I guess his body just gave out. We started with the niacin in the food but I guess he had been sick longer than we thought. Thank you all for all your help! -
