    I got nothing....that temp spike did them in. I'll try again next week and keep a better eye on my temps. Congrats to everyone on their new fuzzy butts!!

    Nothing so far with me. Today is hatch day..but I'm not very optimistic that anything will happen. I had a temp spike of 109..I think it did them in. I'll start another hatch next week.

    I had to toss 5 eggs and one was a STINKER!! My bator went up to 109 on Easter Sunday...so I didn't think I would have anything left. I may have 2 hatch out of 12, but that's OK..I know what went wrong and it's been corrected! Best to the rest of you!!

    I candled tonight and pulled two quitters. I have 2 others that are questionable...but several more with movement!! I was thrilled to see movement after finding my bator at 109 a few days ago. We shall see...........

    It's super hot and humid here. I came home from Easter celebrations to find my bator at 109! I candled and I have a couple that had movement. I'm not very optimistic about this hatch. I'll candle in a couple of days and see what's happening then.

    I set 12 barnyard mutts last night. This is my second hatch this year. I find I'm ALOT less nervous/anxious about it this time around. I was constantly checking temps and humidity my first time...it was driving my family crazy! I had a 100% hatch rate and I also had lots of temp and humidity...

    I set 12 barnyard mix today in my homemade bator. My first hatch was in February and those babies are doing well. Hatching is addicting!! I hope the 21 days fly by....

    I set a dozen today in my homemade bator. I hatched out 6 in February for my test hatch. I'm setting more because I'm much more comfortable with the process. Hopefully, I'll have a great hatch this time too!

    Well, I went to our BRAND NEW TSC and NO chicks!! When I asked the lady if they were getting any she said "we are SUPPOSED to".....so much for my instant gratification. I'm firing up my bator and am about to set a dozen of my barnyard mix!
