I guess the colour genetically is the explanation cus that's the only roo who was around at that time and the hen hatched and raised the set he was amongst
So I guess he's variety-less?
What colour hens would you advise I cross him with
It's very funny cus I saw both his parents and he looks nothing like them
His mum is a blue light hen not sure what the dad is but in the hatch the rest where light, only him and another a female came out complete buff

Got this guy whom I thought would feather out to be gold partridge but the brown on his chest really showed me and after going through pics online it somewhat made him look porcelain iny eyes but he lacks any white featheration though can't be certain because most coverage on his body are...
You really think so?
The female for sure I believe she has buff in her cus her chick stage was buff Columbia but the patterns on her incoming feathers look partridge
For the male I'm not to sure cus his chick stage was solid black, I guess we'd just see what they turn out to be :idunno
I've got these beautiful young birds, my current and only brahma bird's sorted from different breeders by me
Since we don't have the standard gold partridge variation over here I made it my mission to make one from scratch, the male just clock 1 month old where as the female is heading to...
Ohh ohwk you mean the ankle feathering, yh they do have them and that's one thing this particular breeder doesn't lack, his brahmas as superb both in feathering and size although his flocks are still project bird's they're colour variety is mixed up
