That's why I refer to mine as "Dorks" (even tho 1 is a goose)! I love the little boogers. Go into my photos and see how the first couple ducks and the goose were hatched from "colored" Easter eggs! Yes... we colored them before the incubator! LOL :-D One thing about my Runner. The guy said a...
Hi Blondie... Rosie here. I was searching your thread when I saw you posted on mine. Left you a message on my thread. Thanks for the suggestions. Please read what I wrote. Having trouble typing on my "Stupid Smart Phone"! :-)
Hi Blondi!!! I was just reading your post regarding pics of Runners! LOL. I've yet to get close-up pics of them. They went straight to the creek when they got home here. Locked up for the night with my other "Dorks". Curious as to why those names? I like the suggestions. I was thinking of...
I just got a female Crested, a female Runner and a male Blue Swedish. They are 2 1/2 yrs old and do not have names. Any suggestions? I'm putting the pic in my Avitar. Open to all suggestions. Thanks for the help. -Rosie
Gosh... I was truely hoping that one response would be that she's hiding on an egg, although I know that Pekins rarely sit. I'm soooo sad. She was the only girl. Hubby hasn't finished their ""Quack Shack" yet (4 months now). I'm a horrible duck mom!
I have 1 male Goose, 2 drakes (Pekin & Mallard mix), and 1 female Pekin. She disappeared between 11p.m. and 5;30a.m. last night. Is she sitting on an egg somewhere, or did coyotes get her? I apologize, my "stupid smatr phone" is messing up.
I know this is a year since the ??? was posted, but water cabbage/lettuce will burn mouth, lips and throat. If ingested, it will also start on kidney (human or bird). It has to be boiled and then it is still possible to cause harm is ingested. Hope this helps anyone! :-)
Hey there Deanna... glad to see that YOUR pics got mentioned. I just now saw your "Sunny' pic... its a winner in my eyes! Adorable photo! And I want to "thank you" again for posting my pics for me... I see that my "Big Bird" (the goofy mutt duck) photo was also mentioned. Heck... anyone on...
Hi again Brannon. No, I don't "show" chickens... or any birds. I don't own any chickens. I have 1 gosling and 3 ducklings that hatched early and mid May. I entered my 15 min old "mutt duck" photo and my 3 day old gosling with my cat photo (on page 8, I think). We have also hatched quail.
No Brannon... not a judge. I actually entered 2 pics (with Deanna's help). I have 3 ducklings and 1 gosling (all hatched in May). You can see them on page 8 of this thread. You have a beautiful bird! I'd vote for you if I could do Twitter of Facebook to "like" you... but I'm using my cell phone...
Geez Deanna... you're great at this! I can only use my STUPID SMART PHONE right now... our computer is in the shop. Thanks for putting "Gabby Goose" with "Itso" our cat up on this page... and also for "Big Bird"'s 15 minute old photo! :)
OMG Deanna!... Thank you, thank you, thank you! Id ask you how you did that for me, but I know its late, and everyone is tired. Was just trying to beat the deadline. Ha ha ha! Hey... if its not too much trouble, go into my Avatar pics and pull up my "3 day old goose on my cat" photo. If there's...
Thanks. He's my "mutt" duck! I hatched 3 Pekins... but its obvious that he is mixed with a wild one. I only have 1 goose out of 3 eggs. I never fertilized, the other half-hatched and passed. So its the 3 stooges and the goose. I'll add their latest photo to my Avatar album... if you want:) to...
Nope... can't do that either. Oh well. Maybe the Flock Master(Delta) will just click on my name to see my photos, and figure out a way to pull them up. My cat and goose photo is precious!
Hi Lynda.... they are in my Avatar photo album. I can't get them to post. Someone told me to click on the 'picture icon' but it asks for a URL #. I'm stuck. Gonna try a new approach. I looked up the URL# and gonna try typing it into the texting box. We'll see what happens!:) Thanks for responding!
P.S. I will replace my duckling avatar pic, with my "3 day old gosling and cat" photo, if you have anyway to save the current pic. Sorry... I can't figure out how to post them using a cell phone. -Rosie.
