    Ancona should have wide spread pattern. The farther away from solid backs with check/belly/head spots the better our first ducklings for the year hatched last weekend. Just set eggs to start filling order the beginning of February. October 2013 before we culled those not worth breeding for 2014

    Lydia.... I think your boy is in his prime. You take exceptional care if them. Our Dewlap Toulouse have no fertility issues. Our Sebastopols have no fertility issues. The Americans have no fertility issues.

    never had fertility issues with yearling ganders among THREE breeds of geese. We must have always gotten odd ball ganders among the three breeds. Even breeds others claim to have poor fertility to low/no fertility as young birds have had no issues here.
