What is your dream chicken coop, bunny hutch, horse Stable, or ect? Or have you already built it?
You can explain what it will look like or post a pic and put why you think your pet will like it.
I cant wait to see your ideas!
I also switch the uneutard rabbits out of ther hutches once a week and replace then with un spayed rabbits so they can stretch their legs and be out side.
Ok I have two five or six month old rabbits that need to be socialized. The rabbits names are Hazel Baby and Willow.
.First with Willow (she is not spayed ), I usually take her out of the hutch at least twice a week and pet her and hold her but she keep wanting to jump out of my arms and...
well I have had four silver laced wyandottes. My first two where called licorice and oreo. soon the two grew up and licorice was a fat hen who was a lazy happy little hen, but on the other hand oreo turned out to be a rooster and I started to call him rex. Rex had a normal rooster attitude but...
Hens should always have a friend. It may be depressing for her and she thinks your probably part of her little flock. Just remember this "birds of a feather flock together"
its funny how chickens work. she may want hen scratch (if you have any) because when ever my hens see me or my other family members the bolt to the door staring at me and my dad only because we are the only ones who take care of our hens. he squatting may be a defence thing because your bigger...
1. Yes, because I once had a young rooster you felt comfort in laying on my lap and letting me pet his head and back and sometimes fall asleep. He would allways follow me around the backyard and if the dog or cat was to close he would try to fly onto my shoulder.
2. When i first got my rooster...
A while ago I had caught a medium sized hen at my aunts house. For the past couple of weeks me and my dad are arguing on naming the hen. He wants it to be called Ellie but I like Pollo because its humorous. She is a medium sized black hen with the pattern of a brahma with black and gold...
One thing i have done was put underwear on my chicken and carry it around the house:weee , put a dog harness on one and walked it around my neighborhood, and the most wierdest thing was i had a chicken play date with my friends chickens and then later spend the night.
you should get a Rhode Island red or ameroucana. they are soooo friendly, trusrt me. Rhide island red lay very big eggs. I once got a big egg that it wont even fit in the carton.
One time one of my chickens ate a FROG!!! I lifted up a rock and my chicken saw it and ate half of the darn thing! then one of my jersey giant ate the other half of a mouse that my cat left behind. i was so mad at them!! so tell me what weird thing your chicken ate.
I think maybe one of the other hens pecked it to death. It's called the pecking order. If it doesn't have a mother it won't be protected and will probably die. I recomend to keep future chicks in the house. I feel very sorry and I hope you find out what did that.
