I'll keep a very close eye on her in that respect. If things continue in a short period of time I think getting the vet to pay a visit should be undertaken. I don't like the thought of her being in pain if it can be alleviated. Thanks for the input.
She is eating normally and shovelling around grass and soil but I'll get the vitamins and do the checking you recommended. I agree that she appears to be struggling. Thank you for your advice it's greatly appreciated.
P.s we also have 4 cats that go outside weather permitting. Rabbits in summer, the occasional pheasant comes by like all the other birds to feed on the food pellets and squirrels. There is a compost heap as well where any vegetable/peels go.
