I am looking for a couple of recommendations for vets that take chickens so I have their names on hand. Had a scare last night with baby chick getting a hair stuck in it's mouth... she seems good atm but got me thinking that I have no clue who I would take my birds to if I have a need for them...

I just wish ts was better at guaranteeing what we asked for. The ts store in town has a girl that knows her stuff, but they ran out of birds. So we headed to the next ts up the road, cause I was getting my babies yesterday. Lol the girl there was like I'll try...
Just raising for the eggs atm. Would like to get to a point where we could "bred" and sell them as well. But my biggest fear is collecting eggs going to eat one and finding a baby chick.. think that will ruin me... lol
Honestly I m not sure if the sex links are red or black they were only labeled as sex links. All my babies are dark( black and brown) except the 2 of the yellow ones.
Finally was able to get some babies. Started out saying we only need 3 or 4.... ended up with 10. They made it their first night pretty good. Due to snow storm and threat of loosing power we did bring them inside off the porch in a box. But we've got 2 of each midnight majesty marans, chocolate...
I had read about other ways to deal with broodyness, but like I said this popped up and had me wondering if it was really worth it... if it would actuallywork. Someone else also responded that they could kill the babies instead and after reading that I really dont even see it as beneficial...
