Since I have just found out that 2 of my SLW chicks are roosters thanks to some kind folks on here, I was wondering if anybody could give me some input on the best scenario for a calm and friendly rooster. I would like to have a rooster for my flock for protection and possibly for new chicks...

I have 4 golden comets (that look more like RIRs) that all look identical, and 2 Tetra tints that look the same. I was just curious what you use to tell them apart. Ankle tags?? Thanks
