    Cuddle chickens????

    I am curious if anyone has a certain breed of chicken that is more loving than others? I have a phoenix that will come running to be picked up. She also will hold her legs up, so you can't put her down. My polish also seem to like to be held. Anyone else have certain breeds they have noticed...

    Beak

    I have a 24 week polish who will NOT leave the coop. I noticed today that her upper beak is really long compared to the other chickens. Do you ever trim beaks? Or do I just leave it like it is?

    Yiiippppeeee!!!!!

    I am so excited! Had to share with some people who understand the joy! I got my first eggs today. 2 girls laid little brown eggs for me. I suspect it was the Dominiques. The long talk in the coop worked this morning. Also stopped and bought 2 dozen eggs from a roadside market on the way home...
