    Farm Guard dogs?

    So do any of you have dogs like Great Pyrenees, anatolian shepherd or Ackbash to guard your flock or other livestock? I have a GP who keeps the Coyotes away fairly well, but if the problems were to persist I think she'd need help! What dogs do you suggest for a job like this?

    Silkie hen or Roo?

    Do you think this is a hen or rooster silkie? I have one like it the same age, and from the same brood I know it is a rooster as it crows all the time. This one doesn't crow but had some bumps near the bottom of it's legs? What do you think? I can try and get a clearer picture if needed.
