I have a nearly 2 month old male Pilgrim who has recently started having trouble standing. It seems to be a major effort to get to his feet, and when he does his gate is very labored. He spend a lot of time laying he doesn't eat from his feet. Any thoughts?
Any guess what color this poult might be? It was an egg hatched from a mixed pen, thrown in with some silkie eggs, in a hatching egg purchase. Don't recall there being any red or buff turkeys in the pen. Sorry photos are not great.
ISO Pilgrim goslings or eggs in the New York area. Will travel to Ohio, Pa., or New England states to pick up. Please PM with availability and price. Thank you
What's the earliest spring show in NY? Are there any swaps or sales in early spring? Very new to poultry and I'm looking to get out and get some education first hand. Thanks
Have only gotten into chickens in the last year. Are there any Chickenstocks or swaps in the Upstate New York area? Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca maybe? Thanks in advance
Winter finally arrived here in central New York. With a bang. The same storm system that worked it's across the midwest, arrived here yesterday morning changing things, very quickly, from spring like to the frozen tundra with temps in the teens. My small Midget White flock has access to a coop...
I currently have Midget Whites. I'm hoping to get some Beltsville eggs in the spring. Are there other small varieties? I read somewhere that a gentleman in Texas had downsized a bronze variety. I'm new to turkeys and I think I like the smaller varieties, but, it would be nice to have some color.
