I have 5 hens (2 wyandotte cross austrolorp and 3 Isa Browns (production reds)
My girls free range 3 hours in the afternoon and have shell grit and high quality layer pellets available.
If I am providing everything I can, could this just be an old age thing ? I was getting 4 eggs a day...
Any Ideas on what Im likely to encounter with a Austrolorp hen and Austrolorp x Wyandottle cross ? The hen I have is quite striking but I am not familiar with Wyandottle breed.

We purchased 2 older layers and 2 younger pullets at point of lay. I think they are Isa or barter browns.
Anyone confirm or know for sure ? Sorry about the pictures they are not the best... These girls had been de-beaked before I got them through commercial egg laying (free-range barn)...
