    Broody hen's comb turning black.

    I have a year and a half old hen who has been broody for several weeks. I don't have fertile eggs. For the past week or so I have noticed her comb is turning black. First on the tips, and now all the way down. Is this normal? Thanks, Dana

    1-day old chick, eyes stuck shut
