    Swollen Waddle!!!!

    One of my hens (8 months old) has swollen waddles. I will try to get pictures tomorrow if necessary. Does anyone know what the problem is or is it a problem at all????? Thanks so much!

    Hen will not get out of nesting box!

    I gather eggs every day. But I have one hen that stays in the nesting box all day- without any eggs. I take her out and put with the other chickens- but within 30 minutes she sneaks back in and is in the box. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

    Can shredded paper be used in coop?

    I have access to plenty of shredded paper- can I use that in the chicken coop. Can I mix it with shavings?

    I just received my first batch of chicks (15 total). But one has a hurt leg- it may be broken. The other chicks were pecking at the leg- so I seperated the injured one for the night with its own food and water. I contacted the seller and they were very nice and suggested that I keep it...
