    Anyone else reverse top and bottom on LG incubator???

    I hated how on my LG incubator the bottom was so shallow and when I opened the top the chicks would jump out, so I reversed it and made the bottom the top and the top the bottom.     New to peafowl have question about chicks

    I purchased 3 peachicks about 3wks old today. I put them in a pen with a top and they aren't walking around they just smash themselves to the floor, I nudged one and it didn't really get up and move it just looked at me. Are they just scared? Thanks

    Had a pile up in the grow out pen :(

    I have never had a pile up before, 3 juvies dead I don't know if they got scared or were cold, I didn't think it was to cold for them and only some of them piled up. I added a light to the pen not sure if that was the right thing to do but figured it wouldn't hurt. I also blocked all corners.
