Im at a lose right now, the birds grew to quick and outgrew the setup I had, and I'm not sure what to do, Too small for outside and too big for inside..... Sorry for the dumb moment but uhhh help?

Back story, bought a house with a coop allready there, this lady had bags and bags of. Cut up magazines and used them as bedding.. not newspaper but magazine paper....
Why? She had bags and bags of it in the coop, the floor and the nesting boxes were empty

How well will chain link fence work for fenceing? My new neighbor said we have tons of coons and if they can put there hand in the fence(not there body just reach a hand in) they can kill and drag out the chickens, and told me chain link fence wouldn't work.....

There is some smaller trees I'd like to leave where they are, inside the area of the birds outside run, I think that's the right word atleast. I realize ill have to build around them and cut the fencing accordingly, but is there a bad side to this? ...... Also is using a big tree as a post...
