    baking soda poison?

    Dear all, I'm having a rat problem in my coop. First I killed for with traps but then it stopped and it seems the population is growing. Placed a poison box outside the coop but they mainly stay inside. I'm now trying this baking soda recipe...has anyone tried it (baking soda + flour + sugar)...

    Dear all, are these pullets or cockerels? A while ago, also on this website, I was told they were pullets. This morning at sunrise: kuckelekuuuuu...are they just being noisy? They fight a few times a day, and they're about 5 months...no eggs yet...

    swollen eyes/forehead area

    Hi, I just bought two young light sussex chicks two weeks ago, they're 2 months old now. Four days ago one of them all of the sudden had swollen eyes, completely shut. I put her inside at first, next to the heater for one night and fed her separately. Now, the other one is in great shape...
