    butchering right now...what is the hair?

    We've plucked but there's still "hair" on the bird that I can't get off. These are Rhode Island Red hens about 4 months old. I haven't plucked the Buff orp hens yet, 4 months old also. Should we just skin them and be done? We really want to leave the skin on for freezer burn protection. Thanks!
