Pullet with Yellow Nasal Discharge, no other symptoms

Just noticed a pullet with yellow nasal discharge. Separated her from the flock. No bubbly eyes or wheezing. She is eating and drinking fine. No lethargy. How do we discern if this is coryza or a regular respiratory infection that can be easily cleared up. We will be out of town and will have...

    Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons

The woman I got these from was convinced they are hens. She said they are 6 months old. They have not crowed yet, nor have they started laying. My husband went to pick them up and when he got home, I was pretty sure these are roosters. Is there any hope for these beauties being hens??If they are...

    Mystery leg/foot injury?

my bantam naked neck didn't make it up into the coop last night. She is limping and her toes seem bent. She waddles and is whimpering. She can't keep her balance. No signs of puncture/broken skin/bleeding etc. I can extend both legs. Any ideas? I have video but I'm not sure how to post it here.

Swollen Chicken- Like a water balloon

Our RIR has a very swollen backside. Her actual anus isn't swollen, but underneath is swollen like a water balloon. She is a bit lethargic. I thought I saw that she was trying to lay an egg yesterday but she never did. I gloved up and felt around for an egg, but didn't feel one. Any ideas...

    Adopted flock and cannibalism

Hiya, I've tried reading through other cannibalism posts, but I'm not finding what I need. We adopted 1 yr old hens from a family being stationed overseas. We took four birds last week and got the other four this week. One of the Barred Rocks is pecking an araucana. Now the other barred and...
