    Has anyone ever hatched out a silkie/sexlink? If so what were the chickens like when they grew up. How did they lay, was there any plus or minuses to doing this cross? The only rooster I have is a silkie, only chickens laying are sex links. Any opinions will be appreciated. :o)

    can you eat eggs with pine tar on them?

    Can you eat eggs that have been layed by hens with pine tar all over their bottoms? (canibal problems) They do seem to be eating some of the feathers with the tar on them also. Any opinions about this?
