Help!!!
I woke up this morning and found my 1 female quail stuck in her food dish I mean like ALL THE WAY IN! I'm so scared that if she has been stuck like that all night or not but one of her toes are purpleish black I just too her out and feed her and gave her water drinking for a total of 20 already... -

Indeed I lost one of my quails today while I was cleaning her sand out my very skittish one which is also the youngest has flown the coop right passed me. Need some various tips.
My quail are going to be 2 months old soon and I'm thinking of changing their feed to game bird starter because their still pretty small. Thing is I can not find any good feed my 4 quails go through a lot of food so I'm looking for a 50lb bag or so if you guys can give me a link or any... -

About lighting.
Is this lamp okay for their lighting? It's an old lamp of mine that I don't use anymore and when I read they needed 14 hours of light a day even if the hutch is near a window since for now they are small and with the fourth of July tomorrow I have them inside for the time being to keep them calm... -
Quailies!
Well my babies have finally gotten their sand, jeez was it a pain to carry up my stairs! I put a shallow bit in our dust bath container to let it dry up before I let them bathe and well they more so peck and scratch at it then bathe it's quite amusing xD. Your thoughts on sand
I went to the park near my house and their sand is just full of fleas! It was disgusting! I can't use it either way because I have two dogs and three cats in my home as-well with my quails, my dad said Homedepot sells sand and I seen play sand for cheap 2.50$ for a 50lb bag. What are your... -
