    Do I need to feed my chickens more protein during the molting process?

    I have read that protein helps with the regrowth of feathers and it is a good idea to increase the protein during the molting process. My chickens free range the yard everyday. With all the bugs, worms and insects they eat during the day, do I need to add more protein?
