Will using hay (a mix of timothy and "regular") be harmful to my 3 almost 4 week old chicks? I have run out of pine shavings and have been using this mix until I can get some more. I am really concerned about this as I don't want to harm them in any way. I plan to get more pine shavings soon...
I am wondering if two of my larger hens might be roosters. I was also wondering if the vent is basically the same as the "poop shoot" and if not, could I tell if my hens are roosters if they are "ventless?" I would appreciate any insight.
