We gathered eggs yesterday morning, and I found one that when you shook it a tiny bit it felt hard inside. I thought perhaps there could be a developing chick inside, which would be difficult considering we don't have a rooster. When it was cracked and put into a measuring cup to check it out...
What do you think? It acts different than the others, has a kind of purplish hue, it's tail is a lot shorter and has always had a slight bend to it. It's comb is slightly taller, face is more red. But I'm not an expert, so I'm asking for opinions. Thanks!
