I am letting this quad go for a steal because I really do not want to ship them
Cock is a little over 5yrs old, one hen is 4. The other 2 hens are last years hatch. All 4 are unrelated.
This guy is not friendly, but he is an excellent brood fowl. He should be handled by an experience person.
I have quite a few young Wheaten Marans Roos that need to find a home. From Excellent stock. Cheaper for multis.
I am in west knoxville.
I cannot ship these guys.....
Thanks

I have searched the forums all day, I am trying to find out if the Pro20 is the only incubator that automatically stops turning and raises humidity on the 18th day?

Hey guys
I have had chickens all my life and have hatched a few runs out of the old hovabators with the typical results.
My biggest question is:
I sat the eggs on a Friday night. Last Wed. I locked down, filled both troughs with water and closed the humidity window a hair more than 1/2 way...
I have had chickens since I was young and once I got serious, I bought a flock of buff cochin bantams for brooders. I have hatched a few runs out of hova bators and followed the rules but I am just wondering. I have never seen hens, stop shuffling eggs.
I have seen hens come off the nest to...
I picked up some Marans chicks last year and raised them together.I always thought the darker roo was a black copper and the lighters were wheaton.
I have 2 roos like the lighter and the one with the darker mahogany color feathers. Any ideas?
An inlaw said his neighbor had a Wheaton Marans pullet to sell so I told him to pick it up for me....
When she got to my house, I noticed she has yellow legs which is an auto dis qualifier so she will not be in my breeding program.....
I am selling her as a hen only, I do think she is a...
Got this guy from Buddy Henry last fall as a chick with a bunch of wheatons and BCs. I have decided to go with strictly with Wheatons (maybe some blues later).
Local Pickup only, he has just started crowing, hasn't got it quite right yet. Feather legged. Will make a great breeder.
Wanting to buy some started to 2 yr old dark egg layers. Prefer marans but possibly Barnevelders or Welsummers or others
Let me know what you have
Jeff
If you are looking to thin your flock out a bit of older hens, or if you had too many pullets (if thats possible) this year.
Let me know what you have. I need feathers on the legs and of course at least 4-5 on egg scale.
Willing to pay reasonable box/shipping charges.
thanks in advance
J

Hey Guys new to the board and hoping someone can shed some light for me.
