    Dominiques at 6 weeks

    All my Domineckers are still growing and doing well. These birds crack me up, lots of personality and fun to watch. I finally got the fenced run done for them on the coop, it took them two days of staring out the door before they'd come out!

    Dominique shipment

    Just got my chicks in the mail today, ordered from Meyer Hatchery. Ordered 25, got 27, all healthy, happy and peeping loudly. My poor labrador doesn't know what to make of all that noise out on the screen porch.

    Wild grass seed for feeding?

    I've got a few acres of CRP in my field, with lots of native warm season grasses, things like bluestem and indian grass and switchgrass. Anybody feed the seed heads from these to chickens? Can't imagine a problem but thought I'd check here.
