    QUICK! Should I assist?

    Our one single egg has made an external pip earlier this evening (about 5 hours ago) and has not made any more progress. I can hear him peeping away LOUDLY and see the egg moving like crazy. I can see a bit of him through the hole he made. Reading on other pages about assisting says to watch...

    Day 24, Pipped but still not hatching.

    What do I do? I candled two days ago and again today (I know your not supposed to touch but we are passed day 21) and there is still movement, he's noticeably pipped and moving around like crazy..hes been pipped for two days now. What do I do? Just leave him be? Why is it taking so long?
