One of my Girls layed a fairy egg and I found it today buried in the favorite nest!
I opened it to show my boys and to our surprise it not only had a teeny tiny yolk, it had veins and a teeny tiny embryo!
I've only ever heard that fairy eggs are yolkless so I'd love to hear about any other fairy...
We are moving across country soon (from Texas to Washington) and have 18 chickens coming with us. We also have 2 large dogs and 4 cats coming!

So this is one of 10 Easter Eggers from Stromberg's sexed as pullets as day olds.
The coloring looks like a roo to me but it doesn't act like a roo? This is the first time I've had EEs so maybe I'm missing something obvious?
What do y'all think?
I have 10 pullets from Stromberg's that we're supposed to be Ameraucanas but are feathering striped, so I guess that makes them Easter Eggers and not Ameraucanas?
