    purina "starter/grower" has grit in it right?

    My gal's and 1 boy are 10 weeks just about, on medicated purina starter/grower. Does purina Starter grower have grit in it? When can I take them off the medicated stuff? They are in an outside largeish run, should i start offering a bowl of grit for them to munch on or mix some in the feed?

    Well, I don't know if I'm just over worried after I read peoples stories here on respiratory diseases and other illnesses but.... My 2 pullets and 1 roo that are 7 weeks old occasionally sneeze now and again but nothing that seems serious...I'm not sure if they are gaping or gasping though...

    Bedding additives?

    Is there anything I should be adding to bedding to lower the risk of mites, bugs ect...? I use pine shavings and change it out once a week but is there something I should or could add to lengthen the life of the bedding? And or improve their health, they have a 60 sq ft run but not much dry...
