    Finally Eggs!

    We got our first egg on Saturday, I believe from one of our BRs and today we got another only this time from our RIR...YEAH!!! We are finally on our way thanx to my lovely girls

    How many and how often?

    I'm sorry if this has been asked before. My one BR finally laid her first egg Saturday, but there's been no more since. So how often do they lay eggs once the start? She only laid one...will this be normal for her or will she gradually start laying more? And lastly, do they always lay first...

    Why?

    I have noticed lately that when I attempt to pet or pick up my one BR that it hunches down and pulls its wings up in attempt to prevent me from moving it...any idea why or what it means?
