We had to move and I do NOT want to do without chickens! The ordanances are clear but i have a large backyard and will probably keep 2 of 9 chicks i have to get rid of. Fingers crossed their girls. Wish me luck! I have a lot to learn!
I have 4 d'uccles, 2 cockerals (lav/self blue and porcelain) and 2 pullets near POL (lav/self blue and porcelain) for 5 dollars each. I hatched them from eggs from a breeder. I am in Keystone Heights, FL...sorry no shipping.

This auction is for 6+ porcelain d'uccle eggs. My birds are extremely beautiful and sweet! Eggs are collected 3 times daily in this Florida heat and kept at about 60 degrees, being turned 2 to 3 times daily. They will be shipped priority USPS and lovingly wrapped in bubble wrap and newspaper...

So this is my set up. I have 4 5 month old bantams I had in one coop, 5 VERY LARGE mixed breed hens in another, and 4 9 week old pullets in another. All the runs connect but are separated so they are used to seeing eachother. My 5 hens are the only ones who free range but only for a few hours...

My first hatch several weeks ago came out 75% hatch rate. My eggs were very clean (from my flock) and I had no issues during incubation and pips started almost immediately after lockdown.
I am now incubating shipped eggs for the first time and I am worried about them. I have done everything...
